Spendova ("the App") is developed by Seifeddine Bouzid. This privacy policy explains how the App handles your information.
Spendova stores your financial records locally on your device. Transactions, budgets, savings goals, and settings remain on-device unless you explicitly export them.
Spendova also collects limited product and conversion analytics to measure app performance and marketing effectiveness. This may include app events such as app opens, paywall views, purchases, subscription starts, and selected feature usage events. These events are consent-based where required and are limited to metadata needed for measurement.
The App does not require account creation, email addresses, phone numbers, or any personal identifiers. There is no login system.

Analytics events are designed to avoid storing your raw financial ledger on external analytics systems. Spendova sends event metadata only, such as event name, timestamp, platform, and limited contextual values needed for product and growth measurement.

All data is stored locally on your device using AsyncStorage. This data is sandboxed to the App and is not accessible by other apps. When you delete the App, all data is permanently removed.
You may choose to export your data as an encrypted file (.spendova). This file is encrypted using AES-256 encryption. The export is initiated solely by you and shared via your device's native share sheet. The developer has no access to exported files.
Spendova uses third-party processors for specific features:
On iOS, Spendova requests App Tracking Transparency permission before enabling ad attribution signals. If you deny permission, ad attribution is disabled. You can change tracking preferences in your device settings at any time.
Local financial data remains on your device until you delete it or uninstall the app. Analytics and attribution partners may retain event data under their own retention policies after it has been sent.
The App is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children.
If this policy is updated, the revised version will be posted on this page with an updated effective date.
